100% of all Great Gutton hot water is produced by our Froeling 200K watt wood chip biomass boiler. Fuelled by sustainable woodchip we keep our carbon footprint down whilst producing lashings of hot water for guests and the swimming pool!

Solar

The 200 panel, 50 Kwatt  Great Gutton solar array, produce all the day time electricity we might need and even manages to top up the hot water tanks on those endless super sunny Devon days! 

The medium term challenge is to save surplus daytime energy via ever developing batteries, to enable us to go100 % green, for all our energy and hot water needs.

PS. We even have an electric car charging point installed by the pool parking area for any guests who might be able to use it!
