Terms and Conditions (The Blurby bit!)

Great Gutton Limited Terms of Business

The Contract for short term holiday rental shall be between the hirer and Great Gutton Limited and shall be deemed to be made subject to these terms and conditions of hire.

Provisional Reservations can be made by phone/email and must be confirmed within one week with the return of the completed booking form and a 25% deposit payment. Balance of payment is due six weeks prior to the holiday date. If a booking is made less than one month in advance full payment will be due. Non-payment of the full amount on the due date shall be construed as cancellation of the contract by the hirer.

Cancellation

Any cancellation for whatever reason, should be made in writing. We will attempt to re-let the property and return your payment, minus an administrative charge of £100.00 per cottage. If we do not succeed in re-letting the hirer remains liable for the full cost on the due date. We recommend you take out separate holiday cancellation insurance.

Arrival and Departure

The cottages will be ready for occupation at 4pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 10am on the day of departure unless previously discussed with the owners Suzi and John. If you can let us know an approximate arrival time, we shall try our best to welcome you in person or at least let you know how to get in to your cottage!

Number of Guests

The number of people occupying the property should not exceed the number stipulated in the brochure, booking form or website without prior agreement with Suzi or John.

Parking

Ample parking is provided with the grounds, but all cars are left at owner’s risk. Personal Injury or loss The hirer or members of his/her party cannot hold Great Gutton Limited responsible for any injury sustained or the loss or damage to any belongings during their stay at Great Gutton Farm. Please be aware there is open water and farm buildings on the premises

Pets

Well behaved pets are welcome by arrangement in certain properties. Dogs should not be left in the cottages alone or allowed in the bedrooms. Dogs must be kept under control around the farm and mess cleared up. There are a couple of outside kennels which can be used.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in any of the cottages, there are ashtrays outside each cottage and we really appreciate it if stubs are binned

Care of Property

Guests should take reasonable care of the property, furniture and effects and should leave it in the same condition as found.

Complaints/suggestions

Any complaints regarding the accommodation, any shortage or defect should be reported to Suzi and John at once. We really do try to get everything right, but ocassionally things go wrong and are out of our control. We always try to sort/fix/rectify anything so please do tell us if somethings not working or as it should be. Likewise any constructive suggestions are always welcome.

We look forward to meeting you!
